I have worked for Top Gear since 2005 after I saw an advert in a local paper. Although I've driven coaches for many years, I felt it was time for a change and I started by driving vans and 7.5T vehicles on assignments for companies like DHL and Argos. I enjoyed the variety of work so I decided to upgrade my licence, initially to category C (HGV class 2) and then to category C+E (HGV class 1). When I obtained these licences Top Gear put me on to assignments with companies very soon afterwards which meant that I could apply my new skills quickly. I regularly drive for a number of well known companies and I still enjoy the challenges and variety!
